Stories from the Fair: Karoline Morrison

Karoline Morrison had just finished a stint as a showgirl and cigarette vendor in Los Angeles when she returned to Seattle just in times for the World’s Fair. She would work with the barker for Girls of the Galaxy and as a perfume model before finally settling in on the staff of the fair’s Spanish Village. Author of the recent book, Twilight of the Blondes, where she recalls the roller coaster days of early 60s show biz, here she explains how she arrived (and left) the fair’s Show Street.
