Seattle’s Top 5 Spots for the Ultimate Grilled Cheese

We rounded up Seattle’s top spots for enjoying the perfect grilled cheese sandwich!

April 12, 2017

1. Cheese Wizards

The Cheese Wizards are known for their magically delicious sandwiches — all named after legendary wizards. Try the Voldemortadella and you’ll think someone’s cast a spell on your tastebuds!

2. Beecher’s Handmade Cheese Cafe

If we’re talking cheese, how could we not include Seattle’s artisan cheesemaker, Beecher’s Handmade Cheese? They make the cheese right in front of you. Beecher's offers a variety of yummy grilled cheese options, such as their flagship cheese, tomato and basil sandwhich.

3. Skillet

A must-try at Skillet is the Ultimate Grilled Cheese which comes with four(!) different cheeses and the option to add bacon jam and a fried chicken thigh! Is your mouth watering yet?

4. PorkChop and Co.

Apples and cheese — a match made in heaven! Porkchop and Co.’s Apple Melt features cheddar, gruyere, pickled apples and onion spread on fresh sourdough. If that isn’t enough, you can even add proscuitto.

5. The Grilled Cheese Experience

The Grilled Cheese Experience masters are the trailblazers when it comes to grilled cheese food trucks. A favorite here is the Purple Haze, featuring triple-cream Borgonzola, blackened hanger steak, potato chips and blackberry-balsamic reduction on parmesan-crusted sourdough. Are you hungry yet?
