The Top Nine Things We LOVE About the New Website:

  1. KCTS is now optimized for viewing on all mobile devices. No more trying to navigate our full site on a tiny screen. Whether you are using a phone or tablet, now you can easily find your shows and discover local stories and events with ease on any device.

  2. It’s now easier to find what you’re looking for. Search for what you’re interested in quickly and easily or use the new filter feature to narrow your results.

  3. Local content is now available by topic. Looking for a recipe with asparagus by a Northwest chef? Searching for stories on Black Lives Matter in Seattle? Local content is easy to sort and filter to find exactly what you’re looking for.

  4. See what’s on TV now. What’s on the channel 9 now and coming up next appears at the top of the website so you’ll always know what’s on KCTS 9.

  5. View the full TV schedule. Like our topic-based navigation, you can now sort our TV schedule and all programs by topic. Try out our filters located on the left-hand side of these pages.

  6. There is a new “All Programs” option. This feature in the main navigation bar now provides you easier access to discover all of the most recent and archived episodes of your favorite programs that are available to watch online.

  7. Dynamic content suggestions. When you click on a story or program, we’ll suggest some related content that we think you might also enjoy. We hope this feature will help you discover more of the PBS programming and local content that you love.

  8. Indie film lovers, welcome! Check out the new and improved film channel on the navigation menu and immerse yourself in the best regional independent feature-length documentaries and shorts from the Northwest and beyond. Our curators of indie content are constantly discovering new films and filmmakers from our communities.

  9. Looking for local events? You’ve come to the right place. Head over to our new events calendar to explore upcoming KCTS 9 events and a curated list of other great regional events.
