Creating the Golden Space Needle Award

May 26, 2016

Piper O'Neill's artwork is heavily influenced by iconography of the American West. Cowboys, metal and the lone hero archetype are all deeply ingrained in her subconscious. When creating the Golden Space Needle Award for the Seattle International Film Festival, she drew not only from these inspirations, but also from elements that make SIFF so unique. Hear O'Neill speak about her muse and see the finished award.
