Chief Sealth International High School, Seattle

October 8, 2015

One of the international high schools in Seattle, Chief Sealth International is dedicated to educating students so they can become global citizens. With coursework including contemporary world problems, global leadership, academies focusing on business and finance, and foreign language instructuion in Chinese, Japanese and Spanish, the school is setting a foundation for success for their diverse student population. “Because we have so many different types of kids,” says Principal Aida Fraser-Hammer, “we want to have different types of offerings to meet the needs of the kids — or the interests of the kids.”
