Mossback’s Northwest

From Kent to the Moon: The Most Expensive Car Ever Built

Seattle prides itself as a launchpad to the Space Age — but should Kent, Wash. really get the credit?

July 12, 2018

Seattle likes to think of itself as the city of the future, but it’s actually a suburb to the south that helped launch people into outer space. In this episode, Knute Berger shares a story about the most expensive cars ever built — and how they went from Kent, Washington all the way to the moon.

I just wanted to send a note and tell you guys how much I enjoy the Mossback's Northwest videos. The segments are interesting and provide an insight into northwest history. I have lived in the area for almost 30 years and although I am familiar with most of the topics, there is usually a tidbit I did not know. And, of course, Knute Berger makes it fun and engaging.

Please keep them coming!
