"I love to try new things, as long as it doesn’t seem too pretentious. Nothing makes me happier than making other people (especially my family) smile because of the food I’ve prepared.  My favorite cooking quote, from Julia Child, is framed in my dining room:  'People who love to eat are always the best people.'

This dish is totally my style—how can you say no to nutty grains, toasted walnuts, roasted squash, and goat cheese? I’m pretty sure that combo would make anything delicious."
