The late Gwen Ifill was the moderator and managing editor of Washington Week and co-anchor and managing editor for PBS NewsHour.

Last year, Ifill spoke with KCTS 9's Enrique Cerna about race relations in America. Ifill moderated town halls on race and police relations in the aftermath of the Michael Brown police shooting in Ferguson, Miss., and the deadly shooting in a Charleston, South Carolina church. In addition, Ifill shared her thoughts on the 2016 presidential race, her work on NewsHour and Washington Week, and what it was like to be impersonated on Saturday Night Live.
