Leadership Circle Events

Leadership Circle Benefits Donor Testimonials

Throughout the year, KCTS 9 Leadership Circle members are invited to exclusive events that we hope will enrich your experience with us. These events often take you behind the scenes of both KCTS 9 local work and that of national content from PBS. You’ll have the opportunity to meet and mingle with folks like Ken Burns, Rebecca Eaton and Rick Steves, as well as KCTS 9 personalities. In addition, you’ll get to know fellow passionate supporters of public media.

Celebrating Jackie Robinson

Dave Simms joined us for our Annual Legacy Circle Luncheon in April. He shared stories of how he was inspired by Jackie Robinson as well as his time working with the Mariners.

Downton Abbey Finale

Jessica Fellowes, author-journalist and series chronicler (and niece of series creator Julian), joined us in celebration of the Downton Abbey finale in March.

Kirk Johnson

Kirk Johnson, director of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History and host of the recent NOVA series Making North America joined Leadership Circle members for an evening of conversation.
