Fundraising Marketing Administrator

Administer Salesforce Marketing Cloud software, extract, transform and deliver data for mail and email marketing campaigns. Create and manage Membership campaign data and produce campaign performance reports, as well as other reporting as needed by the Membership Director, for internal and external partners in a customer service, detail oriented, and highly responsive way.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

I.  Create and Manage

1.  Create and manage highly complex, segmented lists for external vendors, which includes data extraction, transformation, and delivery of data formatted according to vendor specifications

2.  Provide support of quarterly fundraising campaigns by sending robust email communications and list segmenting, as directed by the Membership Director

3.  Create additional complex queries for Membership department email communications, including heavily segmented lists 

4.  In Salesforce Marketing Cloud, build and repair programmatic email sends to include email automations in Automation Studio and one-to-one journeys in Journey Builder

5.  Create and edit weekly “Passport Picks” enewsletters using imagery and summary content from the PBS video portal

6.  Serve as the primary Salesforce Marketing Cloud subject-matter expert, providing email marketing support to stakeholders station-wide

7.  Configure and administrate the Salesforce Marketing Cloud to include managing user permissions, sender profiles; creating email templates, list hygiene, manage and troubleshoot email campaign issues; monitor bounces and blocks; software upgrades; maintain technical knowledge of the platform; integration with Salesforce CRM

8.  Create and manage Membership ad hoc query requests

II.  Reporting and Analytics

1.  Create and deploy performance analytics, dashboards, trend analysis, including revenue and expense tracking, and various ad hoc analytics and operational reports for Membership stakeholders

2.  Manage Membership ad hoc analytics requests

3.  Provide direct mail campaign responses and revenue report to Direct Mail vendor per their specifications

4.  Manage Email marketing analytics and reports

5.  Create, import, and manage email reports and campaigns including those used for recurring email campaigns

6.  Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice in order to support team revenue goals

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1.  BA/BS or equivalent experience required

2.  Minimum 2 years’ experience with nonprofit CRM; including report and dashboard creation

3.  2 years’ experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other enterprise level Mail Sending platform (Mailchimp, Constant Contact)

4.  Solid understanding of relational databases

5.  Proven experience with large Salesforce data sets

6.  Must excel at gathering report requirements from non-technical stakeholders

7.  Experience writing complex SQL select statements

8.  Advanced Access and Excel experience (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.), as well as proficiency in Word and PowerPoint required

9.  Experience with Outlook email and SharePoint is desirable

10.  Experience in fundraising support is a plus

11.  Web Design, HTML, CSS experience for complicated email templates/layouts as well as scripting experience preferred

2.  Ability to regularly type on a keyboard

3.  Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
