Women in Film Seattle: The Second Tuesday

Wednesday, June 15, 2016

This event has expired.

With the Oscars having no people of color nominated for a second year in a row and being non-diverse in every aspect - and with women making up a small fraction of directors - huge demographics are not being represented, or are represented poorly. Diverse cultures and heritages are not being reflected and stories are not getting told. Join us for a conversation.

Moderated by WIF Board Member Isabella Price; our panelists include:
Scilla Andreen, founder of Indieflix and Indieflix Foundation
Sophia Gutierrez Perez, PNW Diversity in Film and SIFF staffer
Kathy Hsieh, lecturer at UW, award-winning actor, writer and director
