Join KCTS 9 for an approximately 45-60 minute screening of Ken Burns and Lynn Novick's new film The Vietnam War, followed by a panel discussion with Marilyn Levine, Professor of History at Central Washington University, Vietnam veteran and Yakima native Vince Visaya, Growing Veterans mentor Mike Hackett and the founder of Kids Without Borders, Son Michael Pham! Panel to be moderated by Enrique Cerna.

About the Film

In an immersive narrative, Ken Burns and Lynn Novick tell the epic story of the Vietnam War as it has never-before been told on film. The Vietnam War features testimony from nearly 100 witnesses, including many Americans who fought in the war and others who opposed it, as well as Vietnamese combatants and civilians from both the winning and losing sides. The Vietnam War will air Sunday, September 17 - Thursday, September 21 & Sunday, September 24 - Thursday, September 28 on KCTS 9.
