Vicar Heats Up Sundays in March and in Grantchester

Sunday nights in March, 2015 Masterpiece Mystery! viewers will be treated to an encore of the exciting new thriller, Grantchester. The series is based on Sidney Chambers and the Shadow of Death, by acclaimed British author James Runcie.

Isn't everything our business?
“As a priest, isn’t everything our business?” asks Reverend Sidney Chambers as he gets to the bottom of another murder in the idyllic, 1950s village of Grantchester. James Norton stars as the handsome, enthusiastic young vicar, with Robson Green as his pragmatic ally, Inspector Geordie Keating.

Sidney’s innocent inquiry into one case propels him into a series of cases rooted in jealousy, prejudice, class conflict, and passion. Although he is a clergyman, sometimes Sidney can’t help falling into more worldly habits. His pursuit of love is as much a part of his story as his tireless search for justice, spiritual fulfillment, and a really hip jazz club.
