Rick Steves

Rick Steves is the American authority on independent European travel. His television shows, radio broadcasts and books have encouraged people to become "temporary locals" in Europe. Over the past 15 years, Rick has hosted over 100 travel shows for public television, and numerous pledge specials. His current series Rick Steves' Europe is carried on 300 public television stations. Rick writes and co-produces his television programs through his company in Edmonds, . Rick also has a weekly public radio program, Travel with Rick Steves, which airs across the country. In addition, Rick is the best-selling author of 30 European travel books. Rick has traveled the world over, but chooses to live and work in his hometown of Edmonds, Washington.
