Me too - on loosing other channels besides KCTS - I only get Channel 4 and a few weird channels from 20 to 40 (all seem to be religious) - oh, I had Ch. 13 for an hour last night, then it disappeared forever. I guess a lot of us w/out cable will just have no access to most major broadcasters.

I live close to lake washington and 5 years ago had to get a directional UHF antenna to receive DTV and bypass radio streams bouncing off the water. Now, without any notice, you suddenly migrate to VHF and are asking everyone who has an antenna to go back and buy andother VHF and recalibrate it again. My expensive semi-pro UHF antenna is useless for channel 9. It stil works for 4,5,7, and 16, but nothing else.

Well, I put my old 10' VHF/UHF 100 mi/75 mi antenna back up (took 60 mi. digital antenna down), and now 11 comes in but 9 and 13 don't. 25dB pre-amp on the antenna pole didn't do it either.
I feel bad for PBS. I certainly hope your signal strength is increased, or you go back to a UHF signal. Those who can't watch aren't likely to contribute.

Yes, lost 9 & 11. Last week I changed to a newfangled DB8 digital antenna, which says it's only for channels above 20. Bought it because my old big antenna wasn't getting many channels. Was getting 9 & 11 w/ new antenna, now don't get them or 13.
Tried unplugging and re-scanning without luck.
I still own my big 10' uhf/vhf antenna.
Any suggestions? Put both antennas up and switch between them?
What a nightmare.

You need to rethink your system. With your switch back to 9 for digital, I can't get you without reconnecting my 30 year old vhf/uhf antenna---which I am going to take down. Before your digital signal was very strong on my new UHF only antenna. Don't expect any further support from me.

I seem to be having the same issue as some of the others. I used to get a perfect KCTS DTV signal. I live in North Seattle. Now I get nothing. I have an antenna that recieves Digital VHF/UHF. I've moved the antenna all over the house. Any ideas?

Since conversion date of 6/12/09 I can no longer get Channel 9,(1, 2 or 3). After re-programming the message I get when trying to access Ch 9(1, 2 or 3) is 'weak signal'. I have tried to make changes to the this message, but cannot get it. I have moved my antenna around but this was not effective in increasing the strength of the signal. I called the national DTV hotline and they say someone will come out to fix this. Wonder why I am not able to fix this myself. Why am getting a weak signal after the DTV 6/12/09 conversion????

I got a good signal on 9 before also. Now I get what I think is that signal on 9.1. Also get 9.2 and 9.3 (different programming, and didn't get them before.) I get nothing on 9.

Here yesterday and gone today.
I used to be able to view 9-1, 9-2, 9-3 etc.
now nothing, even after rescanning, no signal from chan 9
did you guys move your tower(s) and or transmission frequencies?
I tried a few different compass heading but so far nothing.
I have a modest hi(er) gain antenna that is somewhat directional.
