Wow! This band is outstanding and it is no wonder they have accomplished so much. Darin Faul, the Director, has succeeded in a high quality product year after year. These students must work very hard to compete and perform at this level. What is astonishing to me is that unlike similar great programs at Garfield HS and Roosevelt HS, Mountlake Terrace Jazz Musicians are only from the High School's general area...Garfield & Roosevelt recruit District-wide for their talent and get the "cream of the crop".....say's alot for the MTHS Music Program to compete and win on the same level while not on the same playing field. Congratulations to these fine young Musicians, a very dedicated Director, the Music Program and the parents who support it!
