Jeff Renner

Jeff Renner is known as the "weather guy" on Seattle's KING 5 News, but he's also an avid scuba diver in Puget Sound. "If I could do anything, it would be to give everybody a quick certification course in scuba, and get them down there. Not only to see that it isn't just sort of this glassy surface, that there's an entire community down there," states Jeff. There's a whole underwater world in Puget Sound with sea anemones, tunicates, crabs, wolf eels and the elusive giant Pacific octopus. The health of Puget Sound has been declining and it's evident from the changes that are taking place under the waters of the Sound. Scuba divers have seen first hand the devastating effects of pollution on the underwater ecosystems.
