Puget Sound Matters

Art Wolfe is a native of Seattle whose photographs are recognized around the world. His dedication to his work is evident through his vision and his passion for wildlife advocacy. Wolfe is a world renowned wildlife photographer and has recently shifted his focus to include indigenous peoples and vanishing cultures. After publishing more than 45 books on other places, Art Wolfe's newest book focuses on . The book will be available in spring of 2007. In addition to photography, Wolfe is venturing into television with a new series on PBS entitled Travels to the Edge with Art Wolfe. Wolfe grew up, and still resides in West Seattle, about a mile from where he was born, and the first thing he sees every morning is Puget Sound. At first glance it looks like one big lake. When you really start to experience it, it's an amazingly ornate complex waterway states Wolfe.
