About The Episode
Chef Lindsay Park grew up in Yakima, and studied history at the University of Washington. She soon realized she wanted to cook for a career. Her family is known for bringing one of the first wines to the Yakima Valley. Geppetto's Italian Bistro & Deli started in 2009, and offers a vast selection of Italian cuisine and wine.

About the Host, Gayla Games
Gayla Games, co-creator and host of the monthly cooking show Valley Fresh Fare, is one of Yakima's restaurant pioneers. Gayla started her restaurant career in 1970 when she worked for Gasperetti's. In 1983, she and a business partner purchased The Greystone restaurant. Gayla ran and co-owned the restaurant until she retired in 2002.
