another stimulus idea: instead of "money" tax rebates publish a list of "primarily american worker corporations" and allow people to buy their stocks that would be held by the usa (irs?) for five years (so they can't be sold)...thus helping the companies, incentive for investing, retaining american jobs, and slowing the purchase of retail goods from foreign corps.
obama's idea of stimulating "ready to go" projects is fine, but the next stimulus package should go to projects that are needed for our future and have been undercapitalized for years...electrical transmission lines to nevada geothermal, solar energy plants? subsidizing renewable energy plants for small town/cities that have no generation plants nearby? cleaning up coal generation plants to the point that no one will object to them? more nuclear plants such as France has? If energy is available, it will be used...look at how many aluminum plants have closed due to the high cost of electricity.

A new website featuring hundreds of employers looking to hire is out. It's www.jobaphiles.com, an ebay-like auction-based website where individuals make bids based on asking wage and qualifications. This site allows employers to hire the most highly qualified workers that fit within their recession-sized budgets.
