Power Rice Crispy Bars

This is a grown-up version of a kiddie fave. No marshmallows, though, and the taste is fabulous!

serves 8

2 cups puffed brown rice cereal (I use Erewhon crispy brown rice.)
1/2 cup honey (I use Anna's raspberry honey.)
1/2 cup almond butter (I use Justin's maple-almond butter.)
1/4 cup roasted unsalted pepitas (hulled pumpkin seeds)
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup roasted unsalted sunflower seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt
butter for greasing the pan

Grease an 8-inch square baking dish. In a large microwave-safe bowl melt the honey and almond butter until stirrable. Add the dry ingredients, mixing well. Using the back of a greased metal spatula, press the mixture evenly into the greased pan. Allow to firm up in the fridge. Cut into 16 squares.
