Taco Borracho

  • 3 lbs beef (flank steak)
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 3 thick slices red onion
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 Tablespoon chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 5 teaspoons oil


Season or marinate meat as desired. In a medium heat pan, sear beef with oil and chicken bouillon until meat is cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from pan and cut meat into strips. Add the meat, bell peppers, and onions back into pan, and cook for 3 minutes. Add salt and oregano, and cook for an additional minute. Add the tomato sauce and continue cooking until fully heated.
