Dave Batkar Dave Batkar is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Earth Economics. Dave has taught in the Training Department of the World Bank and has worked for Greenpeace International, specializing in trade and international finance. He also worked for two years with the Rural Reconstruction Movement, a Philippine nonprofit group dedicated to ecologically sound community-based development

Andrea Misiano Andrea Misiano is a certified financial counselor at Consumer Counseling Northwest. She is a certified credit, bankruptcy and reverse mortgage Counselor, and teaches various money management classes throughout King and Snohomish Counties.

Art Nunes Art Nunes is market strategist and a principal of IMS Capital Management. With over a decade of investment management experience, Mr. Nunes also co-manages the IMS Strategic Allocation Fund and serves as the firm's technical market analyst.

Dr. Lewis Mandell Dr. Lewis Mandell is a finance professor at the University of Washington's Foster School of Business and senior fellow at the Aspen Institute. A specialist in financial literacy, Lew has written 21 books and previously served as business dean at SUNY Buffalo and Marquette Universities.

Drew DeSilver Drew DeSilver writes about banking, the stock market and broad economic issues for The Seattle Times. He's been at The Times since April 2000—arriving just in time for the collapse of the dot-com bubble—and previously worked for newspapers in Oregon and Idaho.

Edward Rice Edward Rice is an Associate Professor of Finance and Business Economics at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. He holds a PhD from University of California, Los Angeles. He specializes in corporate control, general corporate finance, applied microeconomics and Alaskan native corporations.

Jay S. Jump Jay S. Jump is a bankruptcy attorney for The Jump Law Group. He focuses on consumer protection, fair debt collection practices, fair credit reporting, identity theft, foreclosure prevention and credit repair. Jump is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates as well as the Washington State Chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Michael D. Joslin Michael D. Joslin is the founder of Joslin Capital Advisor. Joslin is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and formerly a CPA in public practice. He specializes in investment services to high net-worth families and their trusts, as well as to professionals, primarily in the medical and technology fields. He also provides investment advice for the portfolios of many retirement plans and nonprofit organizations throughout the country.

Martin Cordell Martin Cordell is the Chief of the Washington State Dept. of Financial Institutions-Securities Division’s Criminal Unit. As an enforcement attorney, Martin investigates investor complaints and recommends enforcement actions for violations of the state Securities, Franchise, Business Opportunity and Commodities Fraud Acts. He also works with local, state and federal law enforcement to investigate and prosecute investment frauds.
