Jamie and Karen Moyer
Air Date: January 2, 2009
Former Mariner pitcher Jamie Moyer and his wife Karen talk to Enrique Cerna about the challenges and the joys of family and baseball.
Jamie Moyer, now in his forties, shows no signs of slowing down. He has been playing professional ball for over twenty years, spanning eight organizations. He now pitches for the Philadelphia Phillies and won his first World Series in 2008 against Tampa Bay.
Jamie and Karen have seven children and share what it's like to try to keep their family together while moving all over the country. Add to that their work with the Moyer Foundation and Camp Erin and it's hard not to be amazed at all they've accomplished.
