The Youth Vote

They’re young, they’re enthused and they’re registering to vote. This election cycle is waking up droves of Gen Ys and Millennials to politics. The young vote is an elusive demographic and hard to predict, but this time around it’s going to have an impact.

Politicians are targeting younger generations through aggressive online campaigning and Web sites including YouTube, MySpace, and Facebook.

Suddenly pollsters are predicting that whoever captures these votes will walk away with a victory come November 4. Find out what issues are important to younger generations, and what is suddenly driving them to the polls.

I-1000 – Death With Dignity Initiative

Is the Death with Dignity initiative a slippery slope towards coerced suicide? We sat down with two doctors who passionately discuss the issues at hand: Dr. Tom Preston, who hopes to get I-1000 passed in Washington, and Dr. William Toffler, who has been working in Oregon under their equivalent for ten years and thinks it is a very bad move.
