The first of the Dinner cookbooks arrived from the printer on Monday and we are sending them out as fast as we can. If you've donated for the cookbook and can't wait, we can e-mail you a copy of the on-air recipes to tide you over!
We do not offer Braille versions of our cookbooks. The quantity we print is pretty small, and no demand yet for alternative versions. If there's a recipe you are interested in, we could try one of the free online services that's supposed to translate from text to Braille.
Great show & recipes mainly chosen local home cooks or chefs. Note as something by a real chef at professional to be followd easier. Thanks too in plans of mine in set publish as a recipe. Next speaker has talent from shows in recent qualties, yet is he more awake on than G.s!
The new guy? LOL I assume you mean Mark Christopher? Mark was a wonderful co-host with Master Chef Carol Dearth. Both of them made the cooks feel comfortable and at ease and were very instrumental in keeping the show on track. Mark Christopher is a very knowledgeable, light hearted person that believes in having a good time. He is a local radio personality, was a part or is a part of the Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch to mention a few of his accomplishment. He isn’t afraid to get his hands dirt and is and will meet you at your level. He is not pious. I enjoyed interacting with him on KCTS Cooks Dinner. He is a great person to work with.
It not only looked delicious Betty but it was. I sampled it and decided like you, I wanted to make it. It is a nice dish for a family and or a dinner party.
Yes, the Pasta with Rose Crab Sauce was delicious! I was fortunate enough to be in the studio today to try it! "KCTS 9 Cooks" is a fundraising show, so to get the cookbook (365 recipes) you would need to donate here http://kcts9.org/cooks-dinner-gift to show that you support the show and KCTS 9.
I hope this helps. Feel free to reply back if you have any questions.

Mark sounds so much like George. I thought he might be George's son, but he has a different surname.
We miss George. We want George. Mark is doing well, but this show belongs to old, lovable George Ray.
When are the books coming out? I was one of the contributors, and have been anxiously awaiting my copy.

I am also wondering where George is. It seems that KCTS is not answering this question.
Watch for George in an upcoming segment of KCTS 9 Chefs Table, airing Feb 4 -- our 50th local cooking special!
Do you offer a Braille edition of the cookbook?

The new guy is alright but he is definately not as good as George.

Frank - thanks for that background on Mark.....but the burning question is: where's George?
We like the KCTS Cooks shows, but they aren't the same without George!! Where is he?
Hi,
Just turned on KCTS cooks, was wondering where George is?
Hoping all is good with him...
I just tuned in, I'm in Ontario Canada. Where is George? Is he okay? Mark seems nice but I'm used to seeing George.
Thanks.
How do I get the recipe for the "Pasta with a Rose Crab Sauce" as featured on today's (November 5) telecast at 2:30 p.m. It looks delicious!
Thank you.
