Joe Zarelli and Ed Murray - January 13, 2012

January 14, 2012

State lawmakers are back in Olympia for a 60-day session. They have a tough task ahead as they face a billion-dollar-plus revenue shortfall, as well as proposals from the Governor supporting a sales tax increase, education reforms, and same-sex marriage. What will they be able to accomplish? We discuss the session and issues with Senate Ways and Means Committee Chairman Ed Murray, a Seattle Democrat, and the committee's ranking Republican, Senator Joe Zarelli of Ridgefield.
