Salmon is an important part of the culture and economy in the Pacific Northwest. But there are some companies who think they can scientifically improve this icon of the Northwest. Local scientists are currently experimenting with genetically modified salmon for human consumption. But is this food safe to eat? And are there environmental impacts to be considered as well?
