Have you ever wondered how zookeepers can create safe, respectful and enriching environments for captive bears? What should you do to keep bears out of your backyard? On May 5, join Northwest Trek Wildlife Park zookeeper Angela Gibson at the Tacoma Science Café to discuss our relationship with Pacific Northwest black and grizzly bears.

Tacoma Science Café is held on the first Thursday of each month. Did you miss a café and want to hear the discussion? Most Science Cafés are recorded by KCTS 9 and are available for online viewing. Tacoma Science Cafes take place at the Harmon Brewery & Eatery and are presented in partnership with Pacific Science Center and KCTS 9.
