Why did we build the Viaduct in the first place? Seattle's central waterfront has evolved radically since its early days when it consisted of streets and buildings perched on pilings. Come hear how the waterfront's evolving role in our city's economy has influenced what we've built on our front step.

RSVP for this event at MeetUp.

History Café is held every third Thursday of the month. Many History Cafés are recorded by KCTS 9 and are available to watch online. Co-sponsored by MOHAI, KCTS9, Seattle Public Library and Roy Street Coffee.
