About the Programs
This landmark six-hour documentary series chronicles the rich and varied history and experiences of Latinos who have helped shape North America over the past 500-plus years and who have become, with more than 50 million people, the largest minority group in the United States. It is a story of immigration and redemption, of anguish and celebration, of the gradual construction of a new American identity that connects and empowers millions of people today. Latino Americans premieres Tuesday, 9/17, at 8:00 p.m. on KCTS 9 and KYVE 47.
Latinos: The Changing Face of Washington
