The spring of 1962 was a pivotal moment for the city of Seattle: the Space Needle, the monorail, Elvis. Join us for a discussion with filmmaker John Gordon Hill about KCTS 9’s upcoming 1962 World’s Fair documentary “When Seattle Invented the Future" and get a quick lesson from MOHAI on interpreting your own Century 21 artifacts and souvenirs.

Join us on the 3rd Thursday of the month for lively a discussion about history. Each cafe features a different topic, and invites history enthusiasts to come together and share what you know. Grab a cup of coffee - or glass of wine - and enjoy learning about the past!

History Cafe is brought to you by KCTS 9, MOHAI, HistoryLink, the Seattle Public Library and Roy Street Coffee.
