Seattle Arts and Lectures presents a special event with Tom Brokaw.

Tom Brokaw will be interviewed by the Seattle Times.

Anchor of the NBC Nightly News and Peabody Award-winner, Tom Brokaw was a fixture in millions of living rooms for 22 years, regaling audiences with history as it broke story-by-story, day-by-day. As an author, Brokaw retains a lively interest in historical subjects: His first bestseller, The Greatest Generation, was a paean to those who fought and won World War II. Other work includes A Long Way From Home, about growing up in the American heartland, and BOOM! Voices of the Sixties. In his latest book, The Time of Our Lives: A Conversation About America, he takes a look at the American Dream through the lens of four generations of families, including his own.

Interviewer David Boardman, Executive Editor of the Seattle Times.

David Boardman is Executive Editor and Senior Vice President of the Seattle Times. He has oversight and responsibility for the news department of Washington state’s largest newspaper and for its website, Under his leadership, the Times won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for breaking news, presented for print and online coverage of the assassination of four police officers.
