Is “the end of the world” really upon us? Are you worried about the Mayan calendar ending on December 21, 2012 and the Earth's magnetic field shifts?  If so, please join us as Pacific Science Center’s planetarium specialist Alice Enevoldsen debunks "The 2012 Hoax," a giant conglomeration of various superstitions and picks apart the upcoming action flick (“2012”) focused on astronomy and choc-full of terrible science.

KCTS 9, the Pacific Science Center and Science on Tap present monthly discussions from the world of science in a laid back, social way at T.S. McHughs. Grab a beverage and pull up a stool, no science background required. This is a free lecture. Seating is limited, so it's recommended to arrive early.

Please check back soon for information about this months topic and speaker.
