Adele Diamond, Ph.D.
Bright Young Minds: Early Learning, Play and Executive Functions
Topic age range: 2–7 years

To be successful takes creativity, flexibility, self-control, and discipline — central to these are the brain’s executive functions. Dr. Diamond is one of the world’s leading researchers on the development of executive functions. Her work scientifically illustrates the educational power of play, music and physical exercise.

In her lecture, Dr.Diamond will explore the latest research on learning and what parents and educators can do to help build strong executive functions in children from an early age.

Come early and toast ParentMap's 10th birthday, with bubbly and cupcakes. 6-7pm in the theatre lobby.
