Great Nature, the fifth episode of The National Parks: America’s Best Idea, shares stories close to Washington’s heart. From a Japanese couple who finds hope remembering Mt. Rainier while separated at internment camps to Franklin Roosevelt’s quest to save the Olympic National Park rainforests - the episode engages the spirit that makes Washington’s National Parks great. Join us for an evening to remember the past while looking towards the future. After airing the episode, a discussion on the future of the National Parks will be facilitated by Enrique Cerna  and feature a panel of key park stakeholders.
