Make Your Charitable Giving Wishes Come True
There are almost as many variations on ways to support organizations doing work you care deeply about as there are needs to be met. You can make your charitable wishes and the dreams you have for your loved ones and the causes you care about come true through charitable gift planning. We invite you to learn more about the types of gifts that are best for your situation--during your lifetime, and through your estate -- to the benefit of family and philanthropy.
You are cordially invited to join KCTS 9, Seattle Opera, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle Symphony and The Seattle Public Library Foundation for a free seminar on charitable gift planning to help you find the answers you need to fulfill your wishes. We’ll also update you on the changes in the tax laws for 2011.
Our speaker is Akane Suzuki, an attorney at Garvey Schubert Barer. Ms. Suzuki’s practice focuses on all facets of the estate planning process from basic planning to complex trusts, gifting strategies, business succession planning, and charitable giving, as well as probate and trust administration. Puget Sound Business Journal named her one of the top “40 under 40” business leaders for 2009. She has also been named a “Rising Star” and “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law & Politics magazine. Ms. Suzuki is listed in the 2011 edition of “The Best Lawyers in America.” She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
