Genetically modified food continues to be a source of intense debate, especially in organic-friendly cities like Seattle. Are the critics justified, or are they just peddling pseudoscience? At the February Queen Anne Science Café, Alex B. Berezow, PhD, editor of RealClearScience.com, will discuss the pros and cons of genetically modified organisms, from mosquitoes to tomatoes.

Queen Anne Science Café is held on the first Tuesday of each month. Did you miss a café and want to hear the discussion? Most Science Cafés are recorded by KCTS 9 and are available for online viewing. Queen Anne Science Cafes take place at T.S. McHugh's and are presented in partnership with Pacific Science Center, Science on Tap and KCTS 9.
