The Calling Screening & Discussion
Join KCTS 9 and Community Cinema this holiday season for a special, compelling behind-the-scenes look at young Americans - Christian, Jewish, and Muslim - preparing to become the nation's next generation of religious leaders. The Calling, by Danny Alpert, explores the forces that are drawing a new generation of young people to serve their communities and their faith. The Calling offers entertaining and often surprising stories on how faith is expressed in a modern, largely secular world. The two-night four-hour mini-series airs on KCTS 9 on Monday, December 20 and Tuesday, December 21 at 9:00 p.m.
This free event is open to the public. The Frye Art Museum is located on First Hill, steps from downtown and Capitol Hill and has free parking. View the 2010-2011 Community Cinema calendar of screenings online.
