About the Episode
A native of Cape Town, Robert Taylor came to the US in 1980 at the suggestion of his mentor Desmond Tutu to avoid prison for his anti-apartheid activities. In 1999, in Seattle, he became the first openly gay Episcopal dean. His book offers guidance to being fully alive, fully engaged, and leading a deep and meaningful life. He shows how every individual’s “story” has a universal truth that connects them to each other and can also change the world.
