Crab Cakes
Café Mélange

  • 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons onion
  • 2 Tablespoons celery
  • 2 Tablespoons bell pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons pepperoncini
  • 1 teaspoon ground garlic
  • 1 lb crab meat


Chop vegetables. Mix all ingredients together and chill for 2 hours. To cook, shape into 2 oz patties, coat with more bread crumbs, and grill 3 minutes per side.



I never thought that preparing crab cakes would be this much easier. The recipe is so simple and I would love to try it at my home. It looks really delicious and I hope it will taste great too. Please keep on sharing such recipes. Thanks.


I am unfamiliar with the ingredient - pepperoncini.
Can you tell me what it is, and where to get it? Is it a type?


They are a mild pepper you find in the pickle section - usually top shelf. They are good on pizza and sandwiches. Hope this helps.
