The transportation department in a country is one of the important department and also the transportation sector is the leading sector for the country's economic development. We know most of the working people in all working sectors are generally use the public transportation to reach their work places. These people need to go their work places regularly to continue their work successfully. It will help in the development of the country's economy. So we can imagine from this, how important the public transit is. So the government need improve the transportation system whenever this is require.


I would like to hear a discussion of the regressive aspects of tolling as a method of funding transportation. Clearly a toll has essentially no effect on the lifestyle of an affluent person yet significantly impacts lower income people. Since one of the goals of tolling is to get people to use public transportation, what it does in effect is "privatize" the roads for the use of the more effluent while forcing the less affluent into less efficient, less comfortable public transit. If that doesn't qualify as legislated discrimination I don't know what does.
