Fundamental research in energy conversion from renewable sources has been ongoing for several decades. In many cases, progress is often determined by limitations imposed by physics. At the July Eastside Science Café, join Intellectual Ventures' Fred Sharifi, Ph.D., to discuss why nature often makes advances in this sector very challenging.

Eastside Science Café is held on the second Monday of each month. Eastside Science Cafés take place at Wilde Rover in Kirkland and are presented in partnership with Pacific Science Center.
