Jean-Michel Cousteau is a French explorer, environmentalist, educator, and film producer. The first son of ocean explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, he served as executive vice president of his father's organization, The Cousteau Society, for 20 years before he began producing his own environmental films and starting the Ocean Futures Society.
