British ecologist Chris Morgan is passionate about the environment, but especially about bears. Morgan, along with local photographer Joe Pontecorvo, have created a three part special for PBS Nature: Bears of the Last Frontier. In this episode of "Conversations," we talk with Morgan about the show, and his efforts to bring grizzlies back to the North Cascades.

About Chris Morgan
Chris Morgan has worked as a wildlife researcher and educator on every continent where bears exist for over 20 years, from polar bears to tropical Andean bears. Morgan owns an ecological and environmental education operation in Bellingham, Washington, and he is the creator and co-director of the Grizzly Bear Outreach Project (GBOP), which seeks to engage communities in grizzly bear information dissemination and conservation, which has also proven beneficial for wolves and cougars.

About the Host, Enrique Cerna
Enrique Cerna is the co-creator, host, and executive producer of the weekly current affairs program KCTS 9 Connects. He is a five time Northwest Regional Emmy Award winner with more than 37 years of experience in the Seattle broadcast market. Enrique joined KCTS 9 in 1995. In 2003, The Seattle Weekly honored him with a Best of Seattle Editors' Choice selection as Best TV Host. In 2006, Seattle Magazine named Enrique one its 26 most influential people of the year for his broadcast work.
