This is the way I make. Chop onions and walnuts coarsely and put together in a pot. Add pomegranate juice (not from concentrate), seasoning and spices. Simmer until the onion is cooked. Add the chicken and let it cook. Reduce the juice to reach the consistency that you like. Add pomegranate seeds and safron, and serve with basmati rice.
