This sounds like a "flourless" recipe which people then assume is gluten free. To be positive you are free of gluten, you need to read the labels of the other ingredients. The baking soda is often mixed with flour to make it pour better. Look for the baking sodas that state on the label that they're gluten free. Flour is on some seasonings and I think spices, as well, so leaving out the flour from a recipe isn't the total answer to making it gluten free. These cookies do sound scrumptious, though!
