Nice post! I work at Doe Bay (sommelier at the cafe), and we are understandably excited about this film, and that it is showing on KCTS. I understand you haven't been - I suggest you come up to Doe Bay in spring, fall, or even winter - when NOone is here. It is a truly beautiful place, and the Doe Bay Cafe is (IMHO) the best restaurant on the island! (Full disclosure, I went to high school with Rahner!) I also used to live in Seattle and moved up here two years ago - i love it and love DB Fest, too, but truly, off season (sans touristos) is a great getaway (especially for a writer!)...
