From a Guest's Perspective

So what is it like to be a guest on Check, Please! Northwest? Find out from a past guest on the show. Check out the latest post at the food blog Wasabi Prime:

Mixed Plate: Hey, Ma, I'm on TV! Wasabi Makes a Nervous Debut.

KCTS 9 viewer, Denise Sakaki, is a food writer, photographer, cook, and lover of all things food. She recommended Adam's Northwest Bistro in Monroe, WA to Check, Please! NW. We visited the restaurant and Denise appeared on the show on May 17, 2012.

Your program is SOOOO Poofy and Phony.
Ever notice how all the guests are the same age range/professional/usually recent transplants etc. etc. etc.
Like.... this show is REALLY representative of a crosscut section of Seattle.

Hi Guest,

Thanks for your feedback on Check, Please! Northwest.

In its first season, the show featured guests who ranged in age and profession from an undergraduate college student to a plumber, a nurse, a retired CEO and more. I encourage you to watch -- or re-watch -- episodes online and confirm this for yourself.

What all the guests on the show do have in common is that they applied to share their love of food as a guest on Check, Please!. If you feel your age group, profession or depth of Seattle roots is under-represented among guests on Check, Please! guests, we strongly encourage you to apply to be on the show yourself at http://kcts9.org/form/be-our-guest-check-please

Thanks,
Brook
