Be instrumental in inspiring a smarter world — volunteer at KCTS 9!
KCTS 9 is in need of many volunteers throughout the year to assist with various events and service projects. Volunteering is a great way to experience public television and contribute to an important community service. You really can make a difference.
If you are interested in joining a great team, please review the volunteer opportunities below.
Assist with events and when KCTS 9 hosts a booth at festivals. Tasks include but are not limited to: setting up, cleaning up, checking in, kids activities, greeting, managing sign-ups for enter-to-wins, way-finding, crowd control, photographers. Most support is needed evenings and weekends.

Annual Mister Rogers’ Sweater Drive Volunteers (only during the month of January 11 – February 8; groups welcome)
Help out our dear friend Mister Rogers by processing donations sorting, tracking and packing donations to prepare for pick-up or delivery to beneficiary organizations. We may also need drivers to pick up donations from locations and bring them to the station. Most support is needed during business hours Monday through Friday during the Sweater Drive.
